There are many forms of meditation out there. For some, a mediation practice is what they need to clear their minds and increase thought awareness, but it may be a workout or another activity for others. You can look up different forms of mediation, try what works for you, or pick an activity that you know will help your mind relax and increase self-awareness.

Set a timer for five minutes every day. During those five minutes, remove as many distractions as you can. Give this at least a week of daily effort to see the results. Like a physical workout, you can’t expect to be stronger as soon as you finish a first routine.

Understanding our thought patterns, habits and interactions can really improve our lives. Increasing self-awareness can influence and alter our habitual thoughts all by understanding how they work.
