We’ve all experienced, or are currently experiencing, being unhappy with some aspect of our lives, whether that be what we own or our experiences. Learning to be happy with what we have is ideal, but even just being content with our current situations and our paths to getting where we want to be is highly effective.
Here are four ways we can do that:
1-Cultivate gratitude: Direct your focus in the right place & put in time every day to practice gratitude.
2-Recognize where you can act: Pinpoint where effort can make a difference (relationships, skills, experiences) & stop focusing on what you can’t control.
3-Recognize your internal world dictates happiness more than the external world.
4-Stop comparing: Everyone is on their own path, and you most likely only see other’s highlights.
