Goals tend to be broken down into a series of specific, actionable steps that, when completed, so is the goal. A habit, on the other hand, is something we do so frequently it has become a natural tendency.
To separate goals from habits, it’s vitally important to identify the length of time we want to participate in something. The key is to first understand and think about exactly what we want to achieve, then to determine whether a goal or habit change is the route to take.
