Keeping track of our goals can be tricky. When we’re only tracking our goals/progress in our heads or based on our own perceptions, we can be extremely off.
For example, many of us don’t know how much time we actually spend on social media until we track it. And I bet the results would be shocking for most of us. Eight hours a day? But it didn’t feel like it!
This is why tracking our goals and progress is so important. Tracking outside our heads gives us confidence that we are actually doing what we are supposed to be doing.
Whether it’s using a calendar, journal, checklist, or spreadsheet, any form of data will obliterate the distortions we’re prone to, and provide ideas for improvement.
